CAVES & WATERFALLS

Areas with limestone formation exhibiting karst topography can be found along the coastline of the city. These natural rock formations attract local & foreign tourists. Caves also abound in the coastal and upland areas of the city considered for community-based tourism projects due to the presence of springs and waterfalls.

The adventure starts as soon as you start trekking going to caves situated near with each other. The view you p*** by is really awesome. You'll be triggered to explore the surrounding and eagerly took lots of photos. Ropes were occasionally needed in steeper slopes. You can feast your eyes on bats, cathedral-like columns of stalactites & stalagmites and many others.

Waterfalls are located within the remaining forest areas of the city in the upland hinterlands. The areas are noted for their cascading rivers and numerous caves. They are surrounded by old-growth trees covered with huge boulders and rocks. Getting there makes for a challenging adventure for avid mountaineers and trekkers.
